1st DERlab PhD and Young Researcher Seminar "DG&RES Integration"
November 2009, Athens (Greece)
"Seminar on the Integration of DG & RES for PhDs and Young Researchers"
The 2-days seminar was organised in Athens in November 2009 providing to new researchers the opportunity to meet, interact and exchange knowledge. Within these days 23 researchers from 7 countries had the opportunity to attend 19 presentations.
In the frame of cultural interaction, they had the opportunity to visit the Acropolis museum, and under guidance to listen about the Greek history.
The exchange of ideas is of great importance since a global view of the research areas that all the participants are involved is gained. The researchers may interact and create new ideas concerning future work. Common research programmes can be created based on the complement work of the participants.
